Huge news for BlackBerry users who were/are/continue to be frustrated by the browser. When I attended the BB Developers conference last year, the Browser Sessions were always the most packed. Clearly the browser could be/should be/needs to be improved and RIM is doing something about it.
I look forward to seeing what comes out of this acquisition and seems to align with the overall strategy of RIM to have a vastly improved browser by Summer 2010. Maybe to align with LTE deployment of Verizon? hmmmm
Saw a similiar app by IBM at BlackBerry Developers Conference last year, but that still required a callback to a mainframe. This app appears to run via on the device translation. These types of apps are what make me so excited for the mobile space.
